There is a payment imposed on all the citizens of any country by the government, which is called tax. This payment is a must for all citizens, for the services (electricity, water supply, good road network etc) provided by the government to the citizens. What tax is to the government of any nation, is what our service is to God. Although everything the government provides is God’s own, He gives health, He gives breath, He gives all the natural resources that are in our care, yet He does not impose any pay on us. It’s however our obligation to give back to Him, and this is the essence of writing this book.

Service is our homage to God, it’s the tax we pay to Him. It’s the fee we are expected to pay to Him every day of our life. The fees we even pay are nothing compared to the advantages we derive from God.
When He expects us to serve Him in return, it is a privilege we should never take for granted.
