When parents try to admonish their wards especially the females not to be involved in any form of sexual immorality, they would almost tell them to avoid the male gender altogether. But as the children grow into adolescents, they soon realize that it is practically impossible to do without the other gender. The Scripture says that male and female created He them.

You will always have the opposite sex around you. You will have them as parents, siblings, neighbours, teachers, bosses, life partners, playmates, classmates, course mates, siblings and most especially as friends. Since it is impossible to do without each other, it is needless putting up efforts to avoid the other gender. If you must learn anything at all, it is how to relate well with no regrets. It is how to keep a good, safe, cordial and non-romantic friendship with the opposite sex. This is what parents should also invest their time to instil into their wards.

This is one of the knowledge I have been privileged to share with hundreds of youths. I have included some of their testimonies in this book. I believe God has sent this book to you as a treasure and a compass to safeguard you and keep your feet from falling. I want you to read this book as a letter from a mother to a child.
